Myrtle Beach may be known around the world for its beaches, golf courses, attractions, and entertainment, but it is the people and businesses behind the scenes that give this community its character.

Across the Grand Strand, local businesses serve residents and welcome millions of visitors while creating jobs, supporting local causes, and contributing to the energy of the region. From restaurants and retailers to healthcare providers, home services, attractions, and countless others, Best of the Beach celebrates those that have earned the trust and support of the people they serve.

This year’s contest featured more than 2,300 businesses, organizations, and individuals competing across 222 categories, generating over 163,000 votes, an 11 percent increase year over year. The tremendous participation demonstrates the pride residents have in their community and their enthusiasm for recognizing the businesses and people that help the Myrtle Beach area thrive.
